WELCOME TO MY
My name is Barry Stevens. After retiring from thirty years of teaching and coaching in
2003 because of my wife’s illness, I was lucky enough to be hired as the Boys
Basketball coach and assistant football coach at my high school alma mater,
Happy High School. My wife Debbie’s
cancer has not reappeared since surgery in 2003 and we are very thankful for
that. We still have to make periodic
trips to Houston to MD Anderson Cancer Center for checkups, but everything so
far has checked out OK.
Our daughter Nikki has just turned 27 and is living
and working in Canyon at Stevens’ Flowers with her mother and grandmother. Mikal, our son, is a Senior at Texas Tech
University at Lubbock and will graduate in May with a Business Degree and will
be in the job market.
I am currently in my fourth year at Happy and am
looking forward to a great school year.
